Whitney Pier Day Care Center believes that children learn through play and exploration of a warm, safe, caring learning environment, and are entitled to be supported in all areas of their development. We believe in fostering active learning, multiculturalism, integration, independence, creativity and parent involvement by providing experiences for positive interaction between staff, children, parents, the center, and the community.

The objective of our center is to develop the "whole " child by providing an atmosphere which is conducive to learning and play. We seek to meet the range of needs of individual children and strive to facilitate their learning stages by providing a well-balanced, structured program with opportunities for the children to explore.  In our learning environment, our trained educators provide the children with age-appropriate materials and activities that stimulate their curiosity so that children will get a sense of self and independence.
